was the pioneer of a new harmony of the Renaissance and thus one of the most important personalities of the musical life of that time. The pieces presented here are ideal material to familiarize yourself with the sound of this epoch that still sounds not familiar but fascinating to us. These tunes do not obey the rule that both instruments must always be rhythmically related to each other. Everyone goes their own way in polyphony, the voices often take twisted ways to find themselves in common sounds. From a technical point of view, this is easy to play for a saxophonist with two years of experience!
