Beautiful music from the early Baroque period, recorded for the first time by the saxophone quartet Vierfarben Saxophon on the CD "Barockoko". A Ricercar is basically the precursor of the fugue, but more free in form. Technically, the piece is easy to play, but it places demands on the rhythmic overview and on the intonation.
